Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the mobile game Heirloom: A Silent Heist ("the game"). By downloading, installing or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not install the game, or remove it from your device.

2. Your Licence to Play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private entertainment. This licence is provided under the terms of the app store from which you obtained the game.

3. No Purchases, No Accounts

The game contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no virtual currency and no advertising. Nothing inside the game can be bought, sold, traded or exchanged for anything of value. Stars, recovered heirlooms and completed rooms are records of play only: they exist solely as local progress on your device and have no monetary or exchangeable value whatsoever.

The game has no user accounts, no registration, no login and no social or multiplayer features. It is played entirely offline by one player.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense the game or its files;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• Modify the game or use unauthorised software to alter its behaviour or saved progress;
• Extract the game's art, audio, level data or text for use in another product;
• Remove or obscure any copyright or ownership notice.

5. Ownership

The game, including its source code, artwork, animation, audio, level designs, characters, text and the name Heirloom: A Silent Heist, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a licence to play; they do not transfer ownership of anything.

6. Your Saved Progress

Your progress and settings are stored locally on your device and are not backed up to any server by us. They may be lost if you delete the game, reset your device, or use the in-game reset option. We cannot restore lost progress, because we never receive a copy of it. Device-level backups you make yourself through your operating system may include the game's local data.

7. Updates and Availability

We may release updates that fix problems, adjust rooms or add content. Updates are distributed through the app store and may require a supported operating system version. We may also stop distributing or supporting the game at any time; if we do, copies already installed on your device will continue to work as they are, because the game requires no server to run.

8. The App Store

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the game is also subject to the App Store Terms of Service.

9. Disclaimer

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted or entirely free of errors. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or saved progress, arising from your use of or inability to use the game. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to obtain the game, which may be nothing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer protection right you have under the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date. Continuing to play the game after a revision means you accept the revised Terms.
