In one line

  • We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data.
  • The game makes no internet connection of any kind.
  • There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software kit inside the app.
  • Your progress and settings never leave your device.

1. The Short Version

Heirloom: A Silent Heist ("the game", "we", "us") is a single-player, offline puzzle game. It has no accounts, no online features and no advertising. Because the game never connects to the internet and never asks who you are, there is no personal information for us to receive, store, sell or share.

This policy explains that in full, and describes the small amount of information the game keeps on your own device so it can remember where you left off.

2. Information We Collect

None. We do not collect any personal information. Specifically, the game does not ask for, receive or transmit:

The app ships with an Apple privacy manifest declaring no collected data types and no tracking. It does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because it performs no tracking to request permission for.

3. What Is Saved on Your Device

So the game can remember your progress between sessions, it writes a small amount of information to its own private storage area on your device, using the operating system's standard local settings storage:

This information is anonymous — it describes rooms and settings, never a person. It stays inside the app's own sandbox on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is not readable by other apps.

4. No Network, No Third Parties

The game contains no networking code and makes no requests to any server, including our own. It embeds no third-party software kits — no advertising networks, no analytics libraries, no social media logins, no cloud saves and no crash reporting services. Nothing inside the game is designed to reach the internet, so no data can leave your device through it.

5. Device Permissions

The game requests no system permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, calendar, location services, Bluetooth or local network access. Sound plays through the standard audio system in a mode that will not interrupt music you are already listening to, and haptic feedback uses the standard system feedback API — neither reads anything from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

The game is suitable for all ages and is rated accordingly. It contains no violence, no frightening content, no chat or user-generated content, no external links inside gameplay and no purchases of any kind.

Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). No parental consent mechanism is required because there is nothing to consent to. If you believe any information has somehow reached us, please contact us and we will confirm and address it.

7. Your Choices and Control

You are always in control of the information stored on your device:

8. Regional Privacy Rights

Laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights to access, correct, delete, port and restrict the processing of your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

We honour these rights fully — and in practice they require no action from either of us, because we hold no personal data about you. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so. Should you wish to exercise a right or ask us to confirm that we hold nothing about you, write to the address below and we will respond.

9. This Website

This website exists to describe the game and host these policies. It serves static pages only: no accounts, no comment forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability, which is ordinary infrastructure operation and is not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

10. Changes to This Policy

If the game changes in a way that affects this policy, we will publish the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Because the game is offline, an updated policy applies from the moment you install a version of the game it describes. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store listing as well.
